Epilepsy Lived Experience Podcast

The problem

Epilepsy carries heavy stigma across much of Africa, and the voices missing from the conversation were the people living with it. The International Bureau of Epilepsy’s African Region needed communication that centred lived experience, not clinical talking points.

What I did

• Conceived, produced and hosted the “Epilepsy Lived Experience” podcast — the full pipeline: concept, guest sourcing, scripting, recording, editing, publishing and audience development.
• Ran multi-country awareness campaigns and content strategy for the region alongside the show.

What it proves

I can own a media product end to end — editorial judgement, production craft and distribution — inside a sensitive, multicultural health context, for an international client.
